By accessing the content and materials you (“Client”) has agreed to purchase “How to Build Smart Brands,” a Build Smart Brands, LLC branded training and service offering (collectively referred to as “Program”) owned and operated by Build Smart Brands, LLC (“Company”).

 

Below is a quick overview of what you need to know and why you’re being asked to sign before you begin:

  • Use of content and materials
    The content presented in this program is meant to inform and assist you in building a strong brand foundation and strategy for creative brand leadership. You are free to revisit and use this content for the purpose of building, strengthening, and growing your brand. You are NOT allowed to replicate or resell any of the content.
  • Privacy
    The information you choose to share with me at the completion of your course is considered under NDA and will NOT be shared under any circumstances by any member of the Company.
  • No refunds
    Due to its digital format, the Company is not able to offer refunds once the course is purchased nor is the Client able to transfer the course to another Client.
  • Commitment and accountability
    This course is designed to guide you, the Client, through personal and professional exercises in order to build a connected, meaningful brand. Your open-minded commitment to explore and define your brand is required throughout each section of the course until completion. Once complete, your consistency and accountability is necessary to see it through.

1. Course description

How to Build a Smart Brand is a self-guided brand strategy workshop designed to build authentic, connected brands using the S.M.A.R.T Brand Method, a methodology created by Build Smart Brands, LLC. The course informs and assists students/clients through each of the 5 steps in the S.M.A.R.T Brand Method in order to create a brand strategy reference guide for a brand and the team that represents a brand. The goal of the “How to Build a Smart Brand” course is to teach leaders of brands how to explore themselves personally and professionally, defining who they are and what they want to become and ultimately create brands worth sharing

2. Payment and refunds

The course is a one-time, paid-in-full purchase and non-refundable. Due to the digital format of the course, refunds and transfers are not granted under any circumstances. All major credit cards are accepted and received electronically upon completion of purchase.

3. Intellectual property

No part of the course may be copied, reproduced, or distributed without written consent. All intellectual property, including copyright is in combination with credited sources, original methodologies and experience. If referenced, the source must be credited as © Build Smart Brands, LLC. Nothing in this agreement is designed to prevent the Client from building an ownable brand/business based on the materials taught and exercises used in this course.

4. Use of course materials
All course materials are intended for business development and/or personal use. Users are not permitted to share or distribute the materials to third parties without written consent.

5. Privacy policy

All personal information collected is used for course communications and ongoing in connection with Build Smart Brands, LLC. Information will not be shared or duplicated for any reason whatsoever and the client reserves the right to unsubscribe at any time. All information shared between Client and Company will remain confidential.

 6. Disclaimer of warranties

The Company makes no warranties, express or implied, that this course is the end all be all of your brand experience. This course is meant to guide the Client and/or their team through a proven process of creative strategy used by Build Smart Brands, LLC.

7. Limitation of liability

The Company is limited in liability to the maximum extent permitted by law. Build Smart Brands, LLC will not be liable for any damages, including but not limited to indirect, incidental, punitive, or consequential damages.

8. Termination

The Company reserves the right to terminate a user's access to the course for any reason, including but not limited to violation of the terms and conditions.

9. Governing law and jurisdiction

The clauses in this document are governed by law and jurisdiction and will apply to any disputes arising out violation of the terms and conditions.

 10. Errors and Omissions

Build Smart Brands, LLC ensures that the techniques, exercises and thought-leadership methodologies are relevant and up-to-date with brand best practices. We are all human and errors do occur. If typos, errors and omissions are found, please contact [email protected] to correct the issue in a timely manner.

11. Promotion and Marketing

Clients may be asked for a testimonial or feedback regarding their course experience, which may be used on the Company website, social, or email promotional materials. The Company will have unlimited access to repurpose, reuse and publish all testimonial based feedback promoting their success with the course.

12. Technical Support and Questions

Clients have purchasable access to the course creator/instructor is available through slack and one-on-one consulting during the course to answer any questions or troubleshoot any course related issues. If there is a tech issue through Teachable (course hosted platform) please contact live support for direct issues. 

 13. Modifications

Build Smart Brands, LLC reserves the right to modify the terms and conditions at any time, without prior notice. All users will be bound by the updated terms and conditions from the date of posting on the course website.

The undersigned acknowledges and agrees that they have read this document in its entirety and that they are bound by its terms.
